Penamaan Kabel Standar PLN Indonesia

Kabel adalah kawat penghantar listrik (Konduktor tembaga/Alumunium) yang di berikan bahan isolasi dapat berupa bahan PVC atau XLPE sedangkan Konduktor listrik adalah kawat penghantar listrik yang tidak diberi isolasi atau disebut juga kabel telanjang.

Kabel terdiri dari dua kategori yaitu Low Voltage kisaran tegangan 350 – 1000 Volt & Medium Voltage kisaran tegangan 3,6/6 kV, 6/10 kV, 12/20 kV, 18/30kV,

Konduktor mempunyai kisaran tegangan hampir 150 kV sampai 500kV
